My name is Victoria Ponomareva, I am a Russian student doing my Bachelors degree in Auckland University of Technology, majoring in Chinese Studies and Information Technologies. This blog is being developed as a part of my iReflect course.
In this e-portfolio, I am going to look at the idioms of Chinese language, the background of idioms and how important it is to understand how and when to use them appropriately. Along with that, I will try to find corresponding idioms in English and will try to link the 2 cultures using the idiomatic expressions.
During the development of this e-portfolio I will be writing reflections every other week to show the progress I am making and record any difficulties I am facing.
These reflections will be kept in the form of reflective journal on a separate page in my blog. I will also be posting these reflections in separate posts as I write them.
At the end of the semester I will be reflecting on all the work I have done and whether I have met the goals I have set for myself in the Proposal.
